WORX GT WG151.5 18-Volt Cordless Electric Lithium-Ion String Trimmer/Edger

Electric yard trimmers stink. I know mainly because I used to have one. I was always yanking the extension cord out of the walls, and having to track down a new electric outlet to plug into. I’ve wrecked two extension cords due to the fact I wasn’t paying attention and sliced them up with the trimmer. Bummer. So I got a gas trimmer.

I uncovered a decent deal on a used trimmer on craigslist. My life was considerably better now. I was free to move about the lawn devoid of the restraint of an extension cord and I was able to do my yard trimming in about a 3rd of the time I used to. The only problem I had was having to blend the gas and oil. I constantly spilled a little gas when trying to fill up the trimmer. But that was a little price to pay as opposed to my past electric trimmer.

A co-worker of mine was telling me about this Worx GT Cordless Electric Trimmer he got and I just couldn’t believe that a cord-less trimmer might be strong enough to be worth anything. I made up my mind to investigate it online and see what others were saying about it.

I first checked on Amazon.com and learned that it got actually positive reviews. The only concerns I really saw were if you had a bunch of land to trim, but I had a regular sized yard. I searched for more Worx GT Reviews and found nothing but good things so I purchased one.

As soon as I received my Worx Cordless Trimmer I couldn’t wait to charge it and put it to the test. I was able to trim my lawn and the yard next door with a single battery charge so I was really impressed. The fact that I didn’t have to be concerned about extension cords or spilling gas was fantastic. Just connect the battery and get right to work.

If I had a lot of land, I would almost certainly not get this cordless trimmer, but considering that I have a regular sized lawn, it does the job. The extra capabilities that it has are a nice advantage too. I specifically like how the head swivels for edging the sidewalk.

So I would suggest the WORX GT WG151.5 18-Volt Cordless Electric Lithium-Ion String Trimmer/Edger to anyone who has a standard sized lawn and would like to say goodbye to their corded electric trimmer or move away from gas powered. It works great and I love it.
